This event is intended to raise awareness about the most important issue of our time - climate change. The emissions created for this conference, after conservation efforts, are being offset by Climate Care, a UK-based company. This includes all transportation to and from the conference of everyone attending! In addition, Bullfrog Power will be supplying us with green clean energy!

Getting There

We strongly encourage people to leave their cars at home or in a parking garage and bike, take public transit or carpool. For more information on why you should leave your car at home, read this!

If you do decide to drive, you must purchase a $3 parking pass on campus.

Take the Rotary Greenway Trail.

Public Transit

The East Bank Trent Express route runs until 10:00pm, and the West Bank route until 12:10am.

Driving from Toronto:

  1. Take Highway 401 east to Highway 35/115
  2. Follow Highway 115 north
  3. At Peterborough, exit at The Parkway
  4. Continue on The Parkway until it ends at Clonsilla Avenue
  5. Turn right (east) at Clonsilla Avenue
  6. Clonsilla Avenue will become Charlotte Street
  7. Follow Charlotte Street into downtown Peterborough
  8. Turn left (north) at Water Street immediately following the clock tower (Market Hall)
  9. Continue north on Water Street for 6.5 km
  10. Turn right on Nassau Mills Road
  11. Turn right at East Bank Drive for Peter Gzowski College and the First Peoples House of Learning

Driving from Ottawa:

  1. Follow Highway 7 west (Lansdowne Street) to George Street
  2. Turn right (north) on George Street immediately following the Peterborough Memorial Centre
  3. Follow George Street as it turns right into Water Street at Sherbrooke Street
  4. Continue north on Water Street for approximately 7 km
  5. Turn right on Nassau Mills Road
  6. Turn right at East Bank Drive for Peter Gzowski College and the First Peoples House of Learning
